Shredding of faulty goods
Google

B&M Secure Shredding has been appointed by Valpak to securely shred 150 pallets of teddy bears that were once destined to be sold on the high street to celebrate the Euro 2012 tournament.

Over 20,000 teddy bears, no longer destined for the shops, have been shredded to BSIA standards. The toys were confidentially destroyed off-site, due to a minor health & safety risk that the manufacturers identified, to avoid them falling into the wrong hands, or being sold on as toys in other markets. Following the secure shredding process, energy was recovered from the shredded material by using the latest thermal recovery technology.
